Amman – Jordanian Motorsports – The Omani racer Abdullah Al-Rawahi and his Jordanian navigator Atta Al-Hamoud from Jordan, aboard a Skoda Fabia, took the lead in all stages of the national rally on Friday, to win the rally title. Abu Jamous and his navigator, Ghassan Al-Zawaida, aboard an Evo 7, took third place, and the rally was held with the support of Zain Jordan.
The rally was important to the Arab and Jordanian racers in preparation for the Jordan Rally (the third round of the Middle East Rally Championship), which will start next May.
The rally consisted of the Baptism stages 1 and 2, and the third stage is (the strength stage), and Ma’in 1 and 2. The total distance of the rally was 208.34 km, of which 67.84 km were special stages, and the rally path is gravel.
