We previously published in December 2021 a video in which we talk about a press conference for Toyota, which reviewed Toyota and Lexus’ strategy for the year 2030-2035. During the conference, a fleet of electric cars of various sizes and categories was revealed. And yesterday, Toyota re-launched design images of one of these cars, the Compact Cruiser EV.
Toyota has not released any technical details yet, but it has announced the availability of an all-wheel drive system for this car. We at Motorfuction see that this model is somewhat inspired by the first generation Toyota Land Cruiser, with a short wheelbase. This car is aimed at young people and craftsmen because of the looks and features it offers them, according to Toyota’s statement.
Notably, the impressive Toyota Compact Cruiser concept design has been awarded the 2022 Automotive Design Award for Concept Vehicles, which was awarded by Auto & Design magazine in Milan, Italy.
