Jaguar has launched a new special edition F-Pace SVR in a style that recalls its 1988 Le Man victory. The car received custom colors and decorative elements inspired by the Silk Cut-Liveried XJR-9 racer who won with Jean Lamers, Johnny Dumfries, and Andy Wallis at the wheel. A total of 394 cars will be built, with build number 394 indicating the number of laps completed during the race in 1988.

Plus, the aerodynamic elements for 1988 are unchanged, which means under the hood there’s a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 making 542 horsepower paired with an eight-speed automatic and rear-biased all-wheel drive.
